Spending time at Tamworth Camping Area is always a blast. I love enjoying the beautiful views of the surrounding lakes and mountains and discovering the site’s abundance of trails and outdoor activities.

There’s nothing quite like getting up early in the morning to watch the sun rise over the water, setting up camp in an idyllic meadow, or connecting with nature while exploring some of the local parks. Plus, it’s great that they have facilities for motorhomes and tents – so there’s something for everyone! I also find that it’s a great place to relax and bond with my family or friends – it definitely helps when you have everything you need for a camping adventure all in one place!

Open May 15 thru October 14th. PA is valid Sun through Thursday only. PA discount is not available during holiday weekends (Friday through Sunday). PA discount is not valid during Motorcycle Week (9 days) in June. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. *Rate is for 2 adults and up to 4 children (under age 18).

How to get there

Located 16 miles from N. Conway and 19 miles from Meredith. From Junction of NH 16 & NH 25, go north 1/2 mile on NH 16 to Depot Road. Turn left (going west) on Depot Road for 3 miles. Camping Area is on your left.
