I absolutely love Sandy Hook Camping! I’ve been frequenting the area since childhood, and it’s always an unforgettable experience. From walking along the shoreline to biking trails surrounding the beach, there’s something for everyone.

The best part has to be sitting by a campfire under the stars with loved ones nothing beats watching the sun slowly set over one of New Jersey’s most stunning coastlines.

With modern amenities like showers and restrooms nearby, it feels more like a beach getaway than a camping trip. And, of course, what would Sandy Hook be without its famous lighthouse? There’s nothing quite like spending a day exploring nature with your closest family and friends!

  • Camp Gateway – Sandy Hook: Situated on Sandy Hook, this campground offers a variety of camping options for families with children, such as tents, RV sites and cabins. It also features plenty of amenities and activities to enjoy, including a playground and swimming beach.
